Chicago $10K/yr vs Northwestern $20K/yr vs Berkeley ?/yr
From Midwest. Interested in working in Chicago when done, but flexible to working in NYC or Bay Area. Interested in Big Law/clerkship opportunities. Leaning toward Chicago school, but not sure if 30K total is worth not going to UChicago.

I'd take Chicago. I also think NU's tuition is a bit more, you'll be loosing less than 10K per year. Probably 8K or so. Even less if get spartan with your living arrangements.rogerlodge wrote:From Midwest. Interested in working in Chicago when done, but flexible to working in NYC or Bay Area. Berkeley ?/yr = Chicago $__/yr with Berkeley's matching scholarship program:

I've actually got fairly decent English skills but I don't proofread well at all. And on TLS I don't even attempt to. The big deficiency in my grasp of English is comma usage. I just don't know the rules. I should learn them.crackberry wrote:Impressive word choice for someone with such limited English skillz.Desert Fox wrote:I'd take Chicago. Not so fast my friend. Berkeley hardly ever actually matches those, despite claiming to do so.MJMD wrote:Berkeley ?/yr = Chicago $__/yr with Berkeley's matching scholarship program:

True, I have definitely called you out on your exceedingly strange comma use before.Desert Fox wrote:I've actually got fairly decent English skills but I don't proofread well at all.
