Help!
I have a 3.6 GPA(Junior) majoring in Economics. My start in college was pretty bad, I got a D and C- in my first semester so I started with a 2.3-2.5. My second semester I had a huge improvement of 3.7+ and with summer courses and winter courses, I've been getting mostly A's. What are my chances to get into a T14 law school? What kind of LSAT would I need. I took a practice and got 178.
Some other things about me would be that I was born in the Ukraine. Fluent in 5 languages. 4 of which I could read and write, and 1 which I can only speak. VP of my schools student government.
I would also appreciate suggestions for none t14 schools.

I'm a millionaire astronaut day trader, so I may not be the best person to answer your question, but when I put your numbers in my $5000 computer you look pretty competitive. Now to get to that gala on my Yacht.

Re: Help!
If you have a 3.6 and get anything near a 178 with those other facets about you, you'll be heading to a great school. Top 10 for sure, maybe top 5, maybe top 3. You're all set.

Actually score a 178 on the LSAT and then apply everywhere you can afford to. Congrats on T6.

Re: Help!
I am worried about my first year of college. I was very sick my first semester and that caused me to under perform. 178 was a practice test. I'll be taking the real thing in June and my instructor said I should get in the 170+ range. I've been studying for it with a private tutor since May of 2009 hoping that it would be what gives me some sort of an edge with my GPA.
EDIT:
I thought when it came to t14 schools, even with a high lsat, if your GPA is sub-par your chances wouldn't be high.

Re: Help!
How much do recommendation letters account for in acceptances? I fear that I won't be able to get more than 2. One from an English professor, and one from a Buss Law professor. Also with a 178 on a practice test, what should I expect on the real test?
