Even with the Fordham scholarship, BU is cheaper and ranked higher. Go to BU.

I would compare them based on total COL, unless you have family or some way to live cheaper in one area than the other.
I am making a similar choice, with a few additional options, and my plan right now is to bug them each for more money.

Re: BU v. Fordham $
With the 7500$ seems like the cost for both is the same (around 58K per year). I would take BU just because I think it has more to offer as a school (great faculty, many, many study abroad opportunities including a semester at Oxford). Also keep in mind that Fordham grads are competing with many cream-of-the-crop-T10 grads for jobs in one of the hardest hit markets, and ITE that's not going to end well for Fordham.

BU - for all the reasons above + higher biglaw placement in 2009 and much lower COL. Then again, I'm biased. BU also places really well in NYC - so it wouldn't rule any cities out, while Fordham is a NYC school.
