Help me make a decision- full ride vs other options
Trying to figure out where I want to go here, with the age-old question of free vs. in-debt.
The match-ups:
Pepperdine (full) vs BU (little $) vs UVA (sticker)?
Some of these schools may be interchangable, depending on a few responses I'm waiting for. Plug one in to substitute for the other. Does it change anything?
Interchangable schools:
Pepperdine/Santa Clara (maybe full, likely $$)
BU- BC/UCLA(no $)/USC/Hastings/Irvine
UVA- Penn/GTown/Cornell/Northwestern (all sticker)
INFO-
-Prefer a school that places well in cali (especially northern), although I'd consider Boston as a close second choice.
-Want to go biglaw, but I would be more than happy with a rewarding PI job I loved or mid-size firm (the biglaw hours aren't too attractive to me)
-great candidate for need-based aid
What do you think?

If you want to stay in Cali and can get need based aid I think UCLA would be good.

You'd get more responses with school names in the title and if your options and goals were narrower.
Go to BU/BC for Boston, otherwise don't go to either.
Of the T14s, I'm going to Northwestern and SF is my target market (though I'm very happy to stay in the Midwest as fallback). None of those T14s go to CA super often, but it's possible. Boalt would be better, arguably distantly followed by Mich.
I'd probably do T14 or a full-ride to a lower T100 in CA. UCLA and USC too expensive and too LA. Hastings not worth it vs. T14.

Confused - did you get into all of those schools? You got into Penn and yet no money at schools like UCLA?

Re: Help me make a decision- full ride vs other options
Sorry for the confusing post. Let me clarify:
I have pretty much a full ride to Pepperdine, I strongly think I'm in at BU, and im WL at UVA.
WHat to do? If I get into UVA?
Thanks!

What does T14 mean? It looks like it alludes to the tier system. Where do you see the tier rankings?
