Assuming Big Law dreams in NYC, LA, or Atlanta at a distant 3rd.
60k is really hard to walk away from, but my rationale would be the enhanced earning potential coming out of Michigan. IE, there are NYC firms that give 60K annual bonuses that may only be accessible from a T10.
If it were Cornell or Georgetown, the choice would be obvious, but Michigan seems like a pretty bonafied school.
Any thoughts and votes are most appreciated. Thank you.
