Columbia or Chicago sticker Vs Michigan $$
Not interested in big law.
Cost of living is less in Ann Arbor than in New York or Chicago.

If you dont want BigLaw take Michigan. It also depends on what you would like to do. Take a look at the Loan forgiveness programs if you think you will be using those and make a decision from there.

Unless this scholarship is very significant, go with CLS. Michigan's LRAP is a bit deficient against CLS and there haven't been any definite plans as of yet to change it. As a result, the opportunities afforded to you at Columbia will be greater and your income over the next 10 years will not be too different.
OTOH if you're looking at something like 45k + living expense difference, and you don't plan on working in NYC, Michigan starts to look pretty good.
