Cardozo had a good showing in this year's NLJ250 stats.
Brooklyn was a no-show, though it claimed it was a mistake that it was a no-show.

I'd take Cardozo over Brooklyn. I did not even apply to Brooklyn. I heard they are having a very hard time with placement right now. You should visit both and see which you like better. In the end you will be restricted to NYC which is not such a bad thing right?

As is always my question: are there GPA stipulations on either scholarship?

each requires top 40%...not terrible...trey wrote:Cardozo with 32k per year or Brooklyn with 39700 per year. The difference will be approximatley 23,000 over three years.
Is there really such a huge difference between the two institutions? Does Cardozo's higher ranking mean much? Is there a difference between job placement?
ANY insight will be greatly appreciated

I'm toying with the same question. Though my debt would be more at Cardozo.
I know many firms that prefer to hire out of Brooklyn (lots of family that work Big Law in NYC) than Cardozo--- yet Cardozo seems to have a bright and shiny future while Brooklyn is stagnating a bit.

Are you going to both admitted students events? you may be able to get a feel of which school is a better fit for you. i think with either you would need to be in the top 10 or 15% of the class to get a biglaw job... if that's what you want.
