Final Decision!

Post by Eruannon » Fri Mar 05, 2010 4:35 pm

I am pretty set on Illinois and will probably be putting down a deposit soon but I have a couple other options on the table. I want to study IP and received 15k/yr from Chicago Kent 3.3 GPA required, which has a highly ranked IP program. I received the same scholarship from Illinois with no strings attached. I also just received full tuition, 30k/yr from Western New England, which looks slightly attractive because my parents have agreed to pay my living expenses, which would make WNEC practically free.

Any thoughts?

Illinois. Out of those three, I would have already sent in my deposit and started looking for apartments.

I like Kent and all...but UIUC is by far the best school and is giving you the best financial deal. Unless you are horribly averse to cornfields, go with UIUC.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

No strings? Cash that chip in and move along.
