convenience of being in dc at gtown vs. uva
how valuable is going to law school in the best school in the mecca of politics/law etc. and how does that compare to the relative prestige of uva? How important is networking day to day in a city in which you want to practice compared to going to a better school in a city you have no intention of practicing in?

I am not entirely sure, but the large size of GULC has given the impression that the grads are a dime a dozen, especially because so many go there specifically to be in DC (which I hear is a great city). Due to this however, if you really want to be/live there you might be better off going to UVA and capitalizing later on.
Add: I say might, because I am not sure at all. I do value networking, which you may or may not also be able to do from VA though via summer work and stuff.

I was actually at GW today and, while I did like it a lot, they may have sold me on gtown (whcih I am WLed at but hopefully that will change with my lsat score tomorrow) and just the notion of being in this city for ls in general. You can do a prestig-sounding job and put it on your resume for a credit, while taking the other classes at the law school. It's just not really something you can do at a UVA type place and this seems to have underrated value, at least to me intuitively. Thoughts?
