what would you do?
still waiting on some results, but here is where i stand so far:
-PSU with 20k/yr in the top half of the class (~15k per year in tuition)
-Rutgers Camden with in state tuition and 12k/yr with a 3.5 (~12k per year in tuition)
-Temple with 12k for first year, non-renewable (~16k first year, 28k for 2L and 3L)
-Seton Hall with 35k/yr in top half of class
i'm still waiting (and hoping) on villanova and UNC. UNC would be awesome, but i know it's a long shot so i'm not counting on it.
right now PSU is the highest ranked, but they're all close enough to where it doesn't really matter that much. i'm looking to do private practice in a medium-large size firm in either NJ or PA and, obviously, i'd like to rack up as little debt as possible.
any opinions and and constructive thoughts would be appreciated. thanks a lot.
edited to include Seton Hall offer

Re: what would you do?
sounds like me. i have the same offer from Penn State, 12 k/yr from Pitt, and have been accepted to UNC. I'm leaning towards taking the money though I think.

i'm out of state for temple, and from what i've heard it's not to impossible to get residency for 2L and 3L, so i'm not banking on it.twert wrote:is that the instate price at temple? if not can you get it for second and third year?

i think then it comes down to where you want to live and what you want to do. if you want to work in philly then temple. it really is i think a better school and may be worth the extra cost.bitlrc wrote:i'm out of state for temple, and from what i've heard it's not to impossible to get residency for 2L and 3L, so i'm not banking on it.twert wrote:is that the instate price at temple? if not can you get it for second and third year?

rutgers camden is my front runner right now. i know there's a lot of hate at SHU on these boards, would it be worth it for only $7,000 per year? i could live at home and commute by train for rutgers or seton hall to minimize debt, if that plays into any opinions. thanks!

Re: what would you do?
Rutgers requires a 3.5 to keep the scholarship? That's absurd. A 3.5 is high for Vandy (probably top quarter). And medians usually go down as you go down in the rankings.
