Is Florida A&M The worst law school in the country?
So I've been trolling the stats on my USNWR premium subscribtion and came over the stats for Florida A&M. The percent of first year law students discontinuing law school is almost 38! This is unreal. There are other stats that I find very surprising but don't necessarily say the school is bad. But a 38 percent attrition rate? WTF? Is Florida A&M worse than Cooley?

People's Pontifical Catholic Something or Other School of Law.
But yes, Florida A & M could be the worst of any school someone might purposefully go to.

Is the school you mentioned ABA? Florida A&M is ABA. I think they may be the worst ABA school in the country.

Subtle anti-historically black college trolling.

It may be the worst ABA school, but there are definitely worse, unaccredited (state, not national, accreditation) schools out there...

Its ashame the school is so bad, it has beautiful facilities and sits on prime real estate. I think it will improve soon, I don't think the state leg. will let it fail they are too vested. Also their admission people are super nice I spoke with some of them when they visited my school. I wish there was a good law school in Orlando, it's my favorite city.

If either UF or FSU had its law school in Orlando, it would have been a top contender for me. And not just because of Disney World.Cestjustemoi wrote:I wish there was a good law school in Orlando, it's my favorite city.

To answer OP, though, I don't think you can definitively say that FAMU is the worst ABA law school. There are several contenders for that infamous spot, many of which happen to be located in Florida. It's a pretty bad sign when over half of your class (if not nearly the entire class) finished in the bottom half of LSAT takers.

NC Central is the best law school value in the country, supposedly. It depends on how one defines value, imo.

Roger Williams wins "worst law school" prize. Students there have to sneak into career days at other law schools.
