UNLV vs. DU vs. Colorado Law
I have a full ride to UNLV, a $22,000/yr. scholarship from Denver Law, and have been offered no money by CU. So tuition would be free at UNLV, $13,000/yr at Denver, and $35,000/yr at CU ($25,000 for the last 2 years after I establish residency. I'm from Nevada, but not a big fan of Las Vegas. Would really like to work in Denver. Thoughts on where I should go?

Given your interest in practicing in Denver, I might be tempted to go there - but free ride at UNLV would definitely be tempting. Not sure what kind of reach outside Nevada UNLV has though.

My first thought... How'd you hear from UNLV so quick?! Resident. I should have guessed.
I think UNLV has a lot of up and coming potential, but that won't change it's regional appeal anytime soon (if ever). I think Denver would probably be a good option, if loans are of concern. If you aren't worried about loans, CU is the best school and probably places well in Denver.

Well, before you consider any of this, I would wait to hear from CU re: $$$...they aren't making scholarship offers until "late January" anyway...jiggaman wrote:I have a full ride to UNLV, a $22,000/yr. scholarship from Denver Law, and have been offered no money by CU. I would also see this thread, specifically the posts by Pufer:
