I know I know you shouldn't plan to transfer but I do want to know if I should attend Fordham pt or another school ft because I always do want the possibility to transfer if possible.
If I do pt at Fordham will I be able to transfer if I want (to t-14)? Or will the credit system of pt not allow me?

Some schools will let you (GULC and UVA come to mind.) Anecdotally, CLS as well, though I imagine that would be insanely competitive. Others strictly enforce their credit requirements (Berkeley and Penn fit this bill, I believe.) Obviously, you need to check with whatever T14 you are thinking of.
Going PT will restrict your transfer options, but that's really the main appreciable difference. We use the same OCI, and everything else. In any case, until you receive grades, you won't know whether transferring is a viable option, and you may want to stay and be at the top of the class, like my 2L friend who got the kind of government job usually taken by T14 kids. If you do well enough at Fordham to get into a T10, you're basically set for most jobs.

I know I shouldn't be planning to transfer but I do want that option to always be open just in case I can or want to move to another school.OperaSoprano wrote:Some schools will let you (GULC and UVA come to mind.) So as far as transferring from Fordham pt to another school, Columbia, UVA, and georgetown allows it? Any idea if nyu and Cornell allow it?
And would you be transferring before you start the summer classes (I am hoping to switch over to ft after 1L)?
