Post Visit Email

Post by BearDownChicago » Mon Jan 18, 2010 9:08 pm

I recently went and visiting UW-Madison. I had an amazing time... I visited the law school with my dad, walked around campus, went to the Wisconsin Purdue bball game (Wisconsin won), blah blah blah. Basically it was absolutely legit. Problem is the school was on break and all the offices were closed. I knew this going up there but thought maybe, just maybe someone would be in there that I could introduce myself to and express my interest in the school towards. I know Wisconsin is big on basically being applicants #1 choice. So here is my question... Would it be okay to send a nice email to Dean Hall expressing my interest in the school and explaining how great my visit was, even though I didn't meet anyone? I don't want to seem to forward, but I really really really want to go there now that Illinois is out of the mix.
