I'm a NC resident still waiting on a decision from UNC. I received a 25k/yr scholarship from Wake Forest today. So if these two schools are basically the same cost, which do you choose? What if Wake is a little cheaper?
The 25k pends on being top 2/3 of class. If you are bottom 1/3 than you only get 50% of its value.
I would like to practice in NC. Is there a clear winner here or are they basically the same when it comes to job prospects? Should it just come down to which school has the best "feel?"
I know I am not the only one deciding between these two schools so I figured we could have a discussion here.

Re: UNC vs Wake Forest
Similar situation. Want to stay in NC. Was dead set on UNC until Wake slapped me with 28k/year scholly. Now I'm going to have to do some compare/contrast.
IMO, UNC has more lay prestige and a bigger alumni presence in NC. Wake has the small class size going for it and a statistically higher median private sector salary for students (fwiw ITE).
I'll hold my vote in case UNC decides to show me some love.
Decisions decisions..

What are your guys' numbers? Also, I'd preliminarily vote Wake, but I don't know what the total tuition costs are. UNC is a bit better school, so if the costs are similar, go UNC.

I'm 164/3.71.
I think its probably going to come down to the school visits but at this point I lean towards unc. After scholarship the costs are similar.
