When do schools give you email addresses? Forum

Longtime lurker who just created an account.

Just wondering…when do most schools give students their personalized email addresses? I know Harvard gives all admits their own HLS email addresses within a few days of being admitted, but how about the rest? Do all other schools wait until you send in your deposit or do they do something similar to Harvard? I'm really only interested in the T14, but if anybody knew about schools outside the T14 that would be great too.

Sorry but this kind of stuff makes me realllllyyyy excited haha!

Yeah, Harvard gave us one just a few days after the acceptance, but I'm not sure about the rest of the T14.

Yes, I've put my deposit down and I'd say it took a little longer than a week. It may have been a bit longer.

They're not T14, but I have one for Iowa and American so far. I've not placed a deposit at either.

UCLA gives them out the day after you get the acceptance call...just got mine today
