Other than Texas, I'm thinking the state law schools go like this...
1.) SMU
2.) Houston
3.) Baylor

I am not aware of any law school outside of the T14 and UT that places a significant number of alums in Austin.
Good luck!

The Austin legal market is a very tough nut to crack if you're not UT. There doesn't appear to be a clear-cut "second-best" option. I go to grad school at UT, but I'm not sure that I have the numbers for UT Law, so I had similar questions as you. You'll find this thread to be helpful.Borachio05 wrote:Other than Texas, I'm thinking the state law schools go like this...

Overall, it appears the hierarchy is UT >>>> SMU/UH (depending on market) >> Baylor.
