Any U of Florida Law Students out there Forum

Is there anybody out there that's a law student at University of Florida. Im interested in transfering there after im done with C.C.

The tls rankings say its worth 51st but idc its one of the places im realy interested in going other than Barry. Im realy not interested in other markets.

Florida is generally regarded as the dominant school in the Florida market and a national leader in tax law. If you want to practice in Florida and are dissuaded by the 51st ranking, then you are taking a too literal view of the rankings. As has been said a million times on these boards, all schools outside the T-14 are regional schools and when evaluating a school its position within the regional market should be the first factor in consideration. Florida is solid if you go for the right reasons.

Well thanks I didn't know that. I wanna practice corporate law not tax though. Any suggestions?

I know nothing about corporate law.

Then what specialized field are you interested in?

Criminal, public-interest, environmental, constitutional. I am not 100% sure. I might even be interested in corporate law once I get to law school and learn something about it.

According to Ken its relatively easy so im not to worried. Im also interested in entertaiment law.
