WOW. FSU is catching THE FUCK UP to UF. I'm interested because I'm a Floridian, but it doesn't really affect me.

Time was when UF beat out FSU in the rankings by ~20 or so, and now the difference is only 3 spots. People say the rankings are meaningless-but I'm talking about Florida prestige. UF is a great school, but maybe FSU will start getting more respect from the naysayer Gator elitists.

Which is not to say that every Gator is a snob (talking to you rman-you don't seem like one), but there are many.

Interesting that to find a school that equals or beats UNC's assessment score, you have to go all the way up to Vanderbilt at 16, who has a 4.1 to UNC's 4.0. UCLA's is only 3.9.

P.S. - I was hoping Northwestern would jump past Duke, but much the opposite occurred. Thoughts on this? I noticed Duke's admit numbers were actually considerably better which is weird to me because nobody seems to talk up Duke much. They have a good rep, but also a rep as a frat school. Also, what the f--- happened to Berkeley?

Also... how the f--- did Texas jump into a tie with Georgetown when their admit numbers are fairly lower, employment numbers are relatively the same. Am I missing something there?

I take issue with the Academia thing. I know personally a few people who don't want to be lawyers and are going back to grad school. But no way anyone from BU Law goes straight into academia. That's just BU giving students temporary jobs. Now, this is the same for every school, the academia thing (no one gets hired into academia right after graduation), what I refer to is how high they are. 17% is a lot of people in bullshit rankings-gaming "academia." I rag on BU only because the information is here and I'm strongly considering it.

UT is now a T14

T14 is the distinction for schools that have been ranked in the top 10 at some point or the other. UT is not a T14. It is ranked in the top 14 though, for this year.

But yes, if it was Georgetown that was the 14th LS in the "T14" back when it existed, then it would be the only LS there with a part-time program.
