I told mine about this, and he is so proud of me! Actually, he was freaked out to hear that I was wandering around Penn Station alone at 1:00am, but that's only because he grew up in the 'burbs.

My fiance even told me: "You should enjoy your last weeks of freedom, because once we move in, I'm not letting you stay up till that time waiting for some crazy girl to get the rankings."

What did she say? "I hope Ken's paying you for this."
I know deep down she's proud, though.

LOL, that's why I generally don't tell him! He would've felt the need to escort me, and he had work the next morning.rbgrocio wrote:hoffb86 wrote:what did your mom say?OperaSoprano wrote:I told mine about this, and he is so proud of me! He doesn't care about me not sleeping. He cared about me not sleeping because of something as stupid as rankings. That's his opinion. He is not a nerd, so he does not understand.

I posted that USNWR law school rankings were leaked and gave a link to this thread on my facebook and a bunch of commented saying "whats that?"

I told my dad and fiancee. They didn't really understand any of it. I think this is why I come to TLS.

My fiance actually listens to all my rumbling about law school. Maybe, it is because I do not talk about law school as much. He just doesn't understand why I spend so much time on TLS. Now, every time he calls, he says: "You're in the forum, aren't you?"
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
