What is US News' methodology behind the "Graduates known to be employed at graduation" stat? If grads don't report data, are the assumed unemployed? Or does this stat simply disregard them?

Because many of these schools are probably working with only 50 percent feedback.

im pretty sure they made the change in the past that if grads dont report then thats unemployed

Very much so. I'm going to attempt to get a job massaging statistics for my law school next year. We need to protect the dean and professors's 350k positions.

I commend the work done at ASU to buy library books and/or make-up employment stats. I still have alot to learn.

I actually think that schools tend to have pretty good percentage reporting just employment %. How accurate that % is, thats another story. However they definitely lack data regarding the reporting of salary or the types of jobs.

Nobody is jealous..It's just quite obvious that ASU does not deserve to be 26-ranked school.

Dont worry every year theres one of these random schools that deserve a prize for gaming the system. In the past it was Davis, but sooner or later theyll come back down to the pack.

Cornell should relocate its law school to Manhattan, right next to its medical center on the upper east side. Instant rankings boost.

This is the most prudent piece of advice I've yet to hear on this entire forum. My decision would move from leaning against attending in the fall to sending my deposit in the next day.
