Also, can anyone explain to me how Washington and Lee ends up 23? They are about the 4th best law school in a massively over-saturated state....

I'd put them as a tie for #2 in Virginia.

Thanks for the sympathy. Yeah... we're all sorry here too. But, eh, things'll work out. I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I'm still going to have pretty good options, as many of us here still are. We'll just have to hustle a bit harder to get those options.

Given how closely packed the 2-6 are, I was wondering if there are structural reasons (due to the arbitrary nature of the rankings/criteria) that might prevent Chicago/Columbia from overtaking, say, Harvard/Stanford. Seeing a new top 3 after two decades would be kinda funny.

Also, I can't believe Harvard's median LSAT is higher than Stanford's 75th.

Complete disclosure, I don't know a damn thing about anywhere except for the Richmond market. I'd say in Richmond W&M would have a slight edge over W&L, but ymmv.

What is US News' methodology behind the "Graduates known to be employed at graduation" stat? If grads don't report data, are they assumed unemployed? Or does this stat simply disregard them?

Because many of these schools are probably working with only 50 percent feedback.

How did a cess pool like Arizona St. end up at 26? Did they buy a bunch of library volumes or something? We know that rankings are disconnected completely from any real employment data or outcomes.
