Yeah...I don't see what is so pretty about UVA's law school. It looks like a mausoleum for the dead.sprezz wrote:3rd pic is the entrance to one of the main grounds libraries (a hallway away from this)Clyde Frog wrote: UVA Law School
here's a weird angle shot of the room in the entrance to the law lib
uva's law school is fine but i'm not throwing the word beautiful around that lightly. i went to look at wustl's website and one of the goddamn header pictures is a link to the st louis cardinals website. st louis remains thoroughly intolerable
Finally. Imo Chicago's law building is GORGEOUS, and it is a straight up fact that Chicago's law library beats out every other school's library (with the possible exception of Harvard, though Chicago's is still better.)...wish CLS looked a bit betterClyde Frog wrote:(LinkRemoved)

This is a bit off-topic. But can someone explain to me why you like NYC as a place? I've never been able to understand it. It's expensive and crowded and even in a smaller city, you still won't get around to doing everything, so the amount of stuff there is to do doesn't seem like a huge draw to me. I'm genuinely curious since I've only ever visited short-term and don't really understand why people like it.moopness wrote:^ absolutely. Columbia's campus is beautiful, AND it's in NYC so that makes it better than every other school (of course, I'm a bit biased)

But you guys have such nice chairs too! Columbia's library chairs look like dorm furniturePulsar wrote:UChi is pretty when the reflecting pool is on and it is nice outside. Which isn't all that often :/. Also while I am happy that the library avoided the oppressive whitewashed interiors of some other schools, I'd still give Michigan, Cornell, and Yale an edge on that count.

New York City is alive, an aggregation of neighborhoods each with its own culture and identity. It is the fast pace, the multitude of restaurants, museums, shopping and nightlife. It is vibrant and the best city in the world, inmho. I also love Paris, London and San Francisco. I live and work in New York.californiauser wrote:http://www.timeout.com/newyork/things-t ... -the-worldKatyMarie wrote:This is a bit off-topic.
