Thanks! I'm not heartbroken, I like my job, I'm young, etc. I'm making the most boring decision possible but I'm ok with it.toothbrush wrote:Good luck Frances. I think I remember you getting promoted recently. It'll work out

That is still a lot of debt, but Columbia should at least lead you to an outcome to service that debt--hopefully more. Congrats and good luck!francesfarmer wrote:I guess I should finally update this thread... going to CLS at less than sticker, class of 2017.

To my knowledge. I have to reapply for aid next year but they said it would be the same if my financial situation doesn't change.bizzybone1313 wrote:Is the $45K from Columbia all need based aid?

Fortunately "CLS" has impressed my extended family enough that I'm going to get some COL help so the debt burden won't be outrageous and CLS has great LRAP! This is a much better outcome than I expected.cahwc12 wrote:That is still a lot of debt, but Columbia should at least lead you to an outcome to service that debt--hopefully more. Wait, you mean you got $45K just for one year? That's almost a Hamilton. I didn't know CLS did aid offers above $85K over three years for non-namedfrancesfarmer wrote:To my knowledge. No it's $45k total, I deferred so I have to reapply for need-based aid next year and get a new packagejbagelboy wrote:Wait, you mean you got $45K just for one year? That's almost a Hamilton.
