Nothing better to do.
100 bucks says shes not hot IRL
I've seen IRL. She's cute.
she proves over and over again that she is hardheaded and in for a world of hurt (eg...Stetson over FSU, refuses to retake, etc)
Yes.

I told you I'm doing my rounds this week & next week. thus far I saw UF and FSU. honestly, the ONLY thing that would bring me to UF over FSU is the rankings/networking/and more likely reach into a GA market (if need be). Which is what matters to mostly everyone. But FSU was so much more welcoming, friendly, and they have SO many things for their law students to do, and do together. It isn't as close to the undergrad as I thought. I thrive in an environment I feel comfortable in, and I felt much more comfortable at FSU.
And you thought you were going to detest FSU haha

him and I are facebook friends

haha. We live in the same city, and by the WAY, you're in for a world of hurt if I find you

. Also, the admissions guy at UF told me not to retake. He said apply early with my current and he's sure (as sure as he can say he is) Ill get accepted.
If you don't mind, what are your numbers that he feels you would be accepted with?

I toured UF first. It was really plain... and when I asked about how the students interact (to both my private tour guide and the admissions advisor) all they could say was that everyone was really competitive. It was really discouraging. Everything felt very cold and unwelcoming. The building itself isn't bad, but theres nothing really good about it either.
FSU on the other hand was extremely welcoming. The entire place was beautiful and warm. They have a social calendar including weekly bar visits for law school students, extra curric. sports for only law school students, and even a law school prom! I've always been really active in my school and love social events so that is really important to me. Everyone seemed like they actually wanted to be friends and get along, whereas everyone at UF seemed really cut throat. That's fine for those who want to live like that, but I would much rather enjoy my time. All I know is that if someone does do better than me in a class, they WORKED for it, so good for them! That seemed to be much more the attitude at FSU than UF.
The person I know who went to UF for law school several years ago had the same thing to say re: competition there and how cutthroat it was. He did very very well and got a good job out of it, but said he really hated the atmosphere at the school.

Florida Coastal >>>>>>>> All
Just make sure to fill out your napkin application cleanly and/or completely. Or don't. Either way you're in.

I'm not an adcomm, but I would say a minimum 163 for UF (164 would prob be solid) and FSU (FSU really likes LSAT, and UF likes both so you'll need that at least bc of your GPA) and probably like 159/160 or something for UM. Again, this is my speculation.

i'm starting fsu in 2 weeks. i got in with a 167, 2.9 and what I would consider a pretty good personal statement. in that statement i explained how much i hated my business major, how it affected my grades, and how i had a much better gpa in my philosophy minor; i'm sure all of this was considered.
IMO, I don;t think it would have mattered. FSU <3's LSAT... and yours is wayyyy above their 75%. You were gold regardless. If you don't mind, how did UF respond if you applied?

I think a 167/anything could get you into one of the Florida schools though...

UF I think cares a good bit about GPA, so if its really low thats a WL/Ding.. a 2.9 isn't so bad though,.. but a 2.5 would be a no-go I bet..

I have a couple of friends in UF law with sub-3 but 165+. Maybe going to UF undergrad gave them a little bump though.
