Easy and hot, which I've heard many ASU chicks are, is worth me getting a nut and alot of times that is all I'm looking for. Won't have much free time in law school, must allocate your free time in areas that will bring you the most pleasure the quickest. Easy hot chicks certainly fit the bill.aIvin adams wrote:while i respect and endorse yer fixation on fornication, it doesnt seem like you have pro moves. easy isnt worth much unless yer drunk and angry at yer family, society, or god. when in a good mood, act like a URM at harvard: be a gunner and go for pres of law review. thats what i did and now i have a very beautiful wife.darknightbegins wrote:Fuck those ye and yer are getting annoying. ASU has the hotter chicks and from what I have heard the easier chicks to get in the sack. Therefore, ASU FTW.

You have nothing valuable to add to this thread and shouldn't have even voted in the first place. Why are you still posting here? HTHVincent Vega wrote:Not gonna lie, you people are a bunch of d-bags.

with this new information i have revisited this quote
suddenly...yer posts seem efficient and consistent.
and now realize that you are deliberately giving bad information because you don't want to help people make good decisions.Still, I do troll hard for all things Arizona (the state). I don't mind giving some info to my future competition to help them make good decisions. I think you'll find that our legal. community is not cutthroat but collaborative.

Perhaps the OP should be in/near Phoenix for LS, but we should all be aware that U of A does place much better with regard to federal clerkships and biglaw: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=108528
I propose that the above stats, and not LSAT and GPA, is the reason one has a higher USNWR ranking than the other.
Disclosure: I've not applied to either.

Re: POLL Choosin between comparable in-state schools(AZ schools)
I wouldn't be going to either of these schools looking at Biglaw unless I'm at the very top. However federal clerkships is a good arguement for Arizona. Overall I still think the similarities of the two schools dictate the OP decide where he would rather live.Close Diamond wrote:Perhaps the OP should be in/near Phoenix for LS, but we should all be aware that U of A does place much better with regard to federal clerkships and biglaw: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=108528

Re: POLL Choosin between comparable in-state schools(AZ schools)
US News doesn't rank schools based on placement power. The fact that UofA has a slight edge in placement on ASU would only factor into the employment percentage stats, which are not heavily weighed.Close Diamond wrote:Perhaps the OP should be in/near Phoenix for LS, but we should all be aware that U of A does place much better with regard to federal clerkships and biglaw: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=108528

If UofA has an edge on ASU, it's a slight one. Making a decision based on which school places more into BigLaw is not recommended; at either school you're probably going to need Law Review level grades, perhaps even better, to even get interviews with the biggest AZ firms. I know someone who's top 10% at ASU and could not get any firm gig (much less a BigLaw job) lined up for this summer. He's not alone, even among Law Review students. And I doubt things are much different down at UofA.
As for small firms, I'm sure they like to hire based on school - UofA alumni will hire UofA students, ASU alumni will hire ASU students.

This is credited. However, this is where the small difference comes in. Top 10% at U of A has soild firm prospects.

For big firms? I'd guess well under 10% going to big AZ firms this summer. That's far from solid.Veyron wrote:This is credited. However, this is where the small difference comes in. Top 10% at U of A has soild firm prospects.

Necessity. No, I don't go to UofA.Veyron wrote:realy, by choice or necessity? Also, are you a U of A student?
But look at the updated nalpdirectory pages for Phoenix firms. It's not pretty.

Re: POLL Choosin between comparable in-state schools(AZ schools)
That's not what I'm talking about. Firms say all kinds of things about what they "require" to hire someone when they'd likely interview someone with straight Ps (i.e. below median) from Stan-ford if they got the chance, when you'd really need to be top 5% or better from the local school.Veyron wrote:I have, OM for example says top 10-15% for a consider.
What I'm talking about are low offer rates (50% or below for the class of 2010) and reduced class sizes for this summer's SA classes. There are maybe 25-30 SA jobs at big firms in Phoenix this summer and people from schools as high as YHS are competing for these, too. I wouldn't be confident about getting a big firm job at top 10% at either UofA or ASU. Like I said, making the decision between these two schools based on BigLaw chances is just misguided - it's like making the decision between Cornell and Duke based on how many people get Supreme Court clerkships.

Not trolling for either, I'm a risk adverse little bitch running off to the T-6 (with a tinge of regret). I guess I should thank you for making me feel good about my decision.
