A question on our thread's methodology for a math illiterate goon (me): after we total up the BL + FC numbers, do we divide by total kids in the class, or total number of kids reporting back?

Columbia is up. Looks like 79.2% BL/FC. Up like 0.33%.

EDIT: Guess this was already posted.

GULC is 44.1% not 44.4% for 2015 (299/678). You are concerning me that I have to suddenly check the rest. Even if you add the 1 FT short term clerk that is 300/678= 44.24%.

I'm not trying to really nitpick about ~.5% points but I do care about just accurate numbers.

For those who doubt, previous poster in this thread was incorrect with 301 number. Numbers I'm adding are 19 + 40 + 216 + 24 = 299

So what's the T14 down to now? T10? T11?

I think Berkeley, Cornell, Duke, Michigan, Northwestern, and Virginia are all substantially identical schools with regards to how you will be regarded in the eyes of a generic employer.

This is something more than a few people have been harping about for years. And honestly, you might as well add NYU to that list as well.

When NYC goes to $190k, I wonder if firms will have to create a separate payscale for Michigan, GeorgeTTTTTown, and BoalTTT or if they can just relegate them to staff attorney or paralegal status.

T12. Let us not forget about NYU. This TTT has been hiding amongst the "top six" schools for far too long. I wonder if they will finally be able to merge with New York Law School (their sisTTTer school) seeing that the Rutgers merger was approved last year.

School funded at the elite schools isn't actually that bad hth

Like a lot of yls and cls and hls school funded positions are dope and people take them over fancy firms to break into advocacy. It just means the school is giving you add'tl money for a year since the PI org sponsoring can't afford to pay you that much

Stop with the nuance, bro. This thread is about drawing a line in the sand between winners and losers.

Winners: Chicago, SLS, Duke, Yale, NU, Mich
Treading Water: CLS, HLS, UVA
Losers: Penn, Cornell, NYU, Boalttt
