Rough year for Washington state . . . UW drops a couple slots, Seattle U almost 10, and Gonzaga falls of the face of the Earth

I'm from Washington, and I'm very glad I didn't apply to any of the schools in my state. I would never apply to GU, UW is too elitist, and I didn't particularly like Seattle U. Though I'm sure a bunch of my friends are freaking out right now.

When determining the ranking of a particular school, there is a certain amount of weight that is put on the LSAT (.35?). Does anyone know how USNWR handles multiple LSAT scores? Does it average scores? For example, as far as rankings are concerned, would it matter if each applicant admitted had taken the test three times with scores 150, 157, and a 180 as opposed to if each applicant had only taken the test once and got 180?

Dude, for all practical purposes like 50th through 120th is a 70 way tie.

The reason most schools take the highest LSAT now is because the ABA is okay with schools reporting the highest LSAT score for matriculants. Therefore, the 150, 157, 180 person would effectively work as a 180 for whatever school the person wished to attend.

TITCR, except it probably holds true from 35 through 200.

Yes, I understand that, but as far as the USNWR rankings are concerned, does it make it sense for a school to admit the latter (180) as opposed to the former (150, 157, 180)?

The new weather metric seems to have hurt them.

But what's its rank now? I don't think Syracuse is better than Buffalo for that region.
