Main screen shots are on the middle of page 10!!js87 wrote:Just got back from the gym and I see this 21 page thread that wasn't here this afternoon. Umm...the leaked rankings that have been discussed non-stop for the past 22 pages?
Unless you're referring to what caused the jump up to T3, in which case I have no clue.

Someone posted that the rankings were released, but they were kidding.js87 wrote:Just got back from the gym and I see this 21 page thread that wasn't here this afternoon. Can someone give me cliffnotes -- is this real and how did we get it?!
Then some chick reported that the magazine was avialable at Grand Central station.
This was followed by accusations of her being a flame, a lot of anxious waiting, and a recounting of how the magazine was released by mistake at Penn station last year.
Then she posted them to her Facebook account, which bothered a shit load of people at work.
Then they got posted on flickr or whatever and everyone was happy. Except people whose school dropped (*cough* Fordham)

Don't be. It's not like the rankings make it a worse school.nol607 wrote:Really upset I just dropped $400 on Cardozo this morning.

You should be upset, but it shouldn't have anything to do with these rankings.

So, what are the thoughts on categorical rankings, do they matter? I know BU is number 22, but does the fact its 6 in tax help me if I'm interested in the field?

So is it fair to say that even though UVA stayed at #10, it did gain in these rankings from Duke and Northwestern falling a spot?

I should take this time to say that I'm so glad I chose to register an account here as opposed to AutoAdmit. Better formatting, and clearly, better users.

Not that I was ever completely satisfied with it, but I did buy into the "rising star" narrative until this.D. H2Oman wrote:nol607 wrote:Really upset I just dropped $400 on Cardozo this morning.

Thank you all for the cliffs. Georgetown stays in top 14 -- GULC secure!

prestige wise it doesn't mean anythingCupidity wrote:So, what are the thoughts on categorical rankings, do they matter? I know BU is number 22, but does the fact its 6 in tax help me if I'm interested in the field?
but actually learning technical skills wise i think it means a little. Seattle U being #1 in legal writing doesn't really mean much to employers, but it means that once I get into the market things might be a little easier for me in that department

yea.... SLS and CLS are peers. SLS closer to CLS than to HLS. CLS closer to SLS than to NYU.yeff wrote:w/r/t T12 vs T14, check out the quick'n'dirty chart I just whipped up plotting the scores versus the ranking.

UVA went up 3 points, while Duke and NU went up 2 points. Still just 1 points behind Michigan (and 2 behind Penn).whattodo2008 wrote:So is it fair to say that even though UVA stayed at #10, it did gain in these rankings from Duke and Northwestern falling a spot?

It doesn't matter at all, see the Health Law rankings if you want proof.
