First, I am sorry to necro this old post....But...

take a look at the Campbell 509 data that just came out. The word is getting out and Campbell is on serious defense. The admission rate is low and their attrition rate seems to be growing.

With CSL taking the hit that it did in the news recently Campbell will likely get a few more applicants for transfer in the coming months. Although the consensus seems to be (based on another post advising a CSL 1L) to simply drop and retake the LSAT if able. This seems telling. It is more advisable for a CSL student to drop out, study, retake the bar exam, and repeat a good portion of their 1L year....rather than transfer to Campbell....interesting.

On the off chance that OP gets notifications about this old post....Good choice and Good Luck.

i think NC has the most saturated legal market for new attorneys because there are 7 law schools (Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, NC State, Elon, Campbell, Charlotte) and the state is not that big and does not have a particularly vibrant economy. So going to the 6th best law school in the state (out of 7) there is a very good likelihood you will not have a job when you graduate.

NC State doesn't have a law school. It's NCCU (North Carolina Central).
Campbell is 4th best in the state with Elon and NCCU falling behind.
I still wouldn't attend though.

ehhh 4th....i would say 5th considering the sliding reputation of Campbell combined with their nearly 40k per year tuition. NCCU has low job prospects, but at least you get what you pay for. NCCU is a bargain if you are okay with running the doc review circuit. Paying 40k per year at Campbell for the same result would place Campbel just behind NCCU and just barely ahead of Elon.
