I think that's reasonable. I guess I personally wouldn't take those options over H, but of course I can't speak for OPHutz_and_Goodman wrote:I think OP will get $100k+ from Cornell, might get full ride with ED to northwestern, will get 80k+ at duke and uva

Re: WUSTL (Dean's Fellowship) vs. Harvard (sticker)
Wash U is a very good school, but I do think you should go to Harvard: you want geographic flexibility, are not from STL, and seem likely to end up with a total COA of less than $200,000 (which is a lot, but a manageable amount). Worst reasonable case scenario out of Harvard is that you get no aid and have to work biglaw for ~5 years to bring your debt down to a manageable level (before leaving for something more rewarding--with a strong resume). Worst case scenario out of Wash U is that you get stuck in doc review hell, or are fully unemployed. I think this lousy scenario at WUSTL is more likely than at Harvard. You could compare best case scenarios and "most reasonable" scenarios and I think you'll similarly see that across the board Harvard is the better choice. The only things that would change this are if your goal was just some sort of legal job in Missouri--in which case WashU with $$$ may be the better choice.
