I would probably have been an English teacher for high school. I could definitely see myself going into journalism too.

Ultimately, though, if I went far back enough (like if I could do high school over again), I would have had a better foundation in mathematics and gone into astrophysics.

Also, when I retire from law I plan on opening up a tea and coffee shop that sells used books. It's not going to make any money, I just think it's something I need to do at one point.

Would have gone into cognitive development and researched. The impact of chemical imbalances in the brain and their coorelation to a persons propensity to react in certain situtations/ likelihood of getting Alzheimer's.. ..

Most days, I wish I did that- but I couldn't find a program that would allow me to blend the neurology and psychology fields in a manner that I wanted to.

So I went to law school.....

Should have become a psychologist instead.

Air traffic controller... well actually, that's my backup if I'm not above median after 1L.

Either that or try to get on either Navy or Army OCS, and maybe leverage that into a federal govt. career after commitment is up.

Or do graphic design, video editing, music production, or some other thing that I used to do for fun as something to get some income on the side.

Probably attempt to teach at either the high school or collegiate level, get an MPA and try to get into the non-profit/government world, or at least for a short term do peace corps or TFA.

Made sure to thoroughly enjoy every moment between may 19 and August 1 of the summer I would have otherwise been studying for the bar.

Something real estate related. I still hope to go into property (developing, flipping, etc.) full-time one day.

Don't you get a real estate license by passing the bar? It may vary depending on the state.

Marine Biology degree-> then worked in an aquarium/research team in some capacity making no money. I'd probably wind up as the person who hands out little maps of the aquarium exhibits, but I would be a lot closer to whales, which is a pretty major job perk.

Or continued tutoring/childcare for autistic kids. It's pretty rewarding, but no money in that either.

I guess my dream job is training autistic whales, or something like that.

I know in California if you have a JD, you automatically pass the real estate test. I would also be going into Real Estate (the traditional way) if I didn't want a JD. I think I would prefer the commercial/development side but residential is cool too depending on where you live.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
