bro are you serious? EVERYONE from OC knows the only credited schools to send your kids are private. For example, at the high school level— Sage Hill, Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran, Servite, Santa Margarita.
The public schools are good, but not great. You need to socialize your kids with the other OC elites.

Your original statement was that quality public schools are scarce in Orange County. Outside of Santa Ana, Westminster, and Anaheim (minus the Hills), that's patently untrue. And Uni's one of the best schools, public or private, in the nation.Dr. Dre wrote:CERTAINLY the better of the public schools, if not the best. ah, yes, indeed; I did say quality. But "quality" isnt only high SAT scores and near perfect graduation rates (which Uni has).jselson wrote:

Quality is more than that brother.

Dre why so up in arms about high school prestige? You still have a chip on your shoulder from that TTT preschool you went to?Dr. Dre wrote:ah, yes, indeed; I did say quality. But "quality" isnt only high SAT scores and near perfect graduation rates (which Uni has).jselson wrote:

Why anyone chooses to live in Mission Viejo has always been a mystery to me.Dr. Dre wrote:the only credited parts in orange county are South orange county—e.i., newport beach, san clemente, mission viejo, coto de caza, etc.
the closer you get to L.A the shiTTTier it gets

Sorry, Dre, but you are so wrong on this one. The Irvine public high schools, particularly Uni and Northwood, are some of the best schools in the state, with higher test scores than Mater Dei or Santa Margarita and the others that you have listed. While the Catholics are fine schools, with a wonderful community, they are also sports machines, and many of their top undergrad college placements are recruited.EVERYONE from OC knows the only credited schools to send your kids are private. In fairness:
5-6 SPECIFIC public high schools in orange county (Uni, Northwood, etc.) > Basically all the private schools >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The vast ocean of other public schools

Not too sure about that, but let's at least work from the assumption that the vast majority of OC high schools are more like Katella or Orange High than are like CDM HS.
also Dre., where'd you grow up in OC so I know never to live there (since presumably it was pretty terrible)?

says you. But unbiased sources:corona del mar HS pwns all irvine schools
Irvine-Uni #29
CDM #46
Irvine-Northwood #57

But the WaPo has CDM two spots ahead of Uni, and both are ahead of Santa Margarita.

btw: Irvine-Northwood, at #76, is far ahead of athletic power, Mater Dei, at #184

Yeah I know a girl that went there, her dad owns a ton of Wendy's franchises and drove me around in his bentley lol. She is now pursuing law and will probably end up at a TT if not TTT. At least she's rich and hotDr. Dre wrote:Sage Hill is so fucking legit, the campus is in Newport Coast, and that place is 180.

Loyola LA. I had a shot at dating her but couldn't because my life was pretty constricted in HS and she went to another school. It's likely that opportunity may present itself again but as you've said yourself, the girls pre 170+ and post 170+ are leagues apart. Though it would be nice to have her dad's money.Dr. Dre wrote:PLEASE TELL ME YOU DATED HERt-14orbust wrote:Yeah I know a girl that went there, her dad owns a ton of Wendy's franchises and drove me around in his bentley lol. edit for mildly amusing story: I made her cry on accident once because I told her she should be a model. Apparently she really cared what I thought and thought my comment implied that I thought she was stupid.
