The real question is how long until they're leaked.

The real question is how long until they're leaked supposedly leaked, but actually fabricated by someone with too much time on their hands.

Last night I was talking to a friend whose boyfriend went to Vanderbilt and is getting his LLM at Penn and asked me how prestigious those schools were. I then listed off the T14 and then explained to her how the T14 works. I wanted to hid in a corner when I realized how my ramblings were insignificant to anyone who doesn't post here.

I've also heard a few leaks, but I'm not sure how credible they are (had us tied with WUSTL?, which seems a little odd given how the rankings work), so I'm not going to let them out.

can't find it again, but it was from the Badger Herald within the past week, an article that included the rank of our business and law school. It listed a few we were tied with, and they were names i don't remember from the past as schools we were tied with. So I'm not sure if this was a leak from the president's office who already had rankings in hand, or just shoddy student reporting. Which is why I wouldn't treat it as gospel, and it was ONLY something like 5 schools anyways.

But reading Dean Raymond's letter, I get the feeling we'll be shunned again and that ranking I saw was incorrect. It's funny how little they mean once you get into law school.

After reading the Deans letter I am also convinced that UW will be dropping in rank. I just hope its not 40 or above. However, I think UW's ranking is relatively insignificant to employers from the upper midwest. I mean the super prestigious Chicago, DC, Twin Cities, and NY firms probably care, but by and large everyone else knows that UW is a good school regardless of what the rankings say.

1 yr doesnt matter. i really don't think firm recruiters are uber-obsessed over these rankings. they're just a way for students to assess different clusters of schools, and alumni/students to get a confidence boost once a year. personally, i am excited for them. it's one thing when stupid people at a bar, or family friends i don't care much for tell me i'm going to a great school. i'm not the show off type, but when you have documented evidence you've outperformed former high school classmates now at TTT's who would always call you out for partying and never studying, it feels pretty sweet.

This is egregiously sketchy, but a thread at autoadmit claimed to have seen the leaked list. I think the biggest things it claimed were that stanford tied harvard and that georgetown fell to 15. please take with a shaker full of salt.

The countdown is just until midnight. Not until the exact time they will be released. Same deal last year.

Same. The rankings will have zero bearing on my decision.

Since we all love obsessing things we can neither control nor predict, ATLhad the leaked rankings last year at 10:47 pm.

Agree with the above sentiments: These rankings don't matter...except that they totally do.
