UDC
CUNY
New England (and maybe Western NE)
Florida International
Golden Gate
Suffolk
NYSL
St. John's
Pacific

(the part time programs at all of em except at CUNY, cause they don't have one!!!!!!!)

Anywaysss, does anyone know which of these schools give the most work? The least? Basically I like my life the way it is, just do a lil HW once in a while, and just chill out and watch movies and stuff mosta the time. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks dudes (and dudettes)! You guys rock (and rule)!

First thing you should do is try to chill less and improve your GPA.

If you can get into Suffolk it really isn't too bad in the Boston area at all. I know many public-sector and a good number of private-sector attorneys throughout the greater Boston area got their JDs there

Then, of your choices, I'd say go with New York Law School. Judge Judy went there. She doesn't seem to work hard and she's a judge.
Yeah I know I was kinda thinking that too, but it's pretty expensive...

Great post btw. Everyone here should take note of holydonkey's posting and try to emulate his feedback style. it would be extraordinarily helpful and appreciated.

and on another note, if anyone wants/needs advice from me do not hesitate to ask! i am very approachable, and i'm minoring in psychology at boston university, so i think i'm more than qualified to evaluate anyone's situation and give constructive advice :)
At first I wanted this to be real...now I'm praying it's a flame.

Hey everyone! I was temporarily banned from this site, but I'm happy to report that I've straighten everything out and will back and posting (hopefully!) on a regular basis!

Oh, and I got into CUNY Law and I'll be attending! So if anyone would care to answer my original question (let's be mature and save the "flame" comments for someone else, ok!?), I would be very appreciative! How much work will (maybe in hrs/day) I be doing once school starts in a month? Thanks homies!!! :D :D :D :D

People in law school (me soon!): --ImageRemoved--

EDIT: By the way, it should be noted that some of you inspired me to work a little (key word: LITTLE) harder in school this past year. I raised my GPA from 3.13 to 3.23!

OP,

The T14 are good schools, but they assign 15 problem sets a week on average. Plus Cornell, Georgetown, and NW grade for accuracy not just completion like the rest. UVA's class project is known to be difficult (35% of your grade) and the teacher picks your partner for you. T25 Schools like BC/BU/ND/WUSTL aren't heavy on the homework but the unit tests and quizzes (every week at 5-10%each) add up fast. Alabama Law is notorious for not assigning HW, no pop quizzes, and there's only one parent-teacher conference call during 1L. The 1L year is hard so almost all law schools give you lots of feedback and grades along the way to track your progress, and final exams are open book open note so that students can really excel. Hope this helps bro

Just wait until Legal Research and Writing. The spelling quizzes are killer. Like Wordly Wise x 1000.

Um.... you said college wasn't a lot of work, but you graduated with a slackerific 3.13.... so, yeah... good luck with that.

Also, your 153 LSAT requires a retake.

And, lastly, I am aware I am almost certainly feeding a troll, but I am really bored.

I probably should have studied harder in undergrad. But unlike you I plan on either putting the work in at law school or dropping out. Even though CUNY is pretty cheap I'd still drop out if your plan doesn't result in a decent class rank. If you want to relax best to get into something you really enjoy that doesn't have crazy deadlines. The Virgin Islands could be a nice place to look for a job like that.

edit: also even if you are an awesome troll. There are people out there who have this plan. In fact one of them from NYC that I know was eyeing CUNY for the in-state price.

WSJ: I thought you were cool man. Disappointed.
Bosa: I don't think I'll drop out, I'm gonna work and I have ZERO undergrad loans, so I think it'll be manageable. But the virgin islands sound good. Maybe someday...
Firemed: I graduated with a 3.23, YOU DIDN'T READ THE WHOLE THREAD!
