Have you fully discussed this situation with your family and cleric? Do they fully know what this means to you? I just want you to be happy. You've earned it.
yeah I have. My family says theyll support whatever decision I make, but I need to think about what kind of life I want for myself and if I want career to be my focus, then go to fordham; if I want to have children and have a career on the side, then go to bls.
problem is I want both
What would worry me most about the BLS scholarship stipulations is not just the fact that no one knows how well they'll do in law school - there's also the fact that you never know when unexpected and horrible things are going to happen to you (except that they're likely to happen when the rest of your life is going well). If you have a bad semester for some unforeseeable reason, that's bad academically at both schools. But at Brooklyn it could also mean having to either drop out or compromise the same values that took Fordham away in the first place. Being one short-term crisis away from long-term disaster is just such a risk to take.
