I'm not sure I want biglaw, but I am not ruling it out either. I want a degree with the most portability (i.e. not a regional school). I'm looking to practice in NYC, DC, LA, or Austin.

Texas is the correct choice.

Ouch. What is that supposed to mean? Lol, I thought we were friends. We shared our passion for Taylor Swift and everything. I'm hurt.D. H2Oman wrote:Desert Fox wrote:It's community service for waterman's racial outburst.

Re: BP decides where you go to law school
I think it would be a tough choice.. I honestly think that as far as MVBPNC goes it comes down to a mixture of personal preference/moneyDesert Fox wrote:A tiny bit of both actually.Drew2010 wrote:are you saying Cornell because of the money, or because you think the chances are better in NYC?Desert Fox wrote:Cornell.violinst wrote:Michigan 45K

also, it takes balls/guts/naivety to admit aspirations of a transfer to HYS.. congrats

Re: BP decides where you go to law school
I have no idea about the employment prospects coming out of those schools, but I do know that faced with OCI in august I'm scared shitless. You too may have similar feelings when the time comes, so I would say out of the three go with whichever would be cheaper after factoring in all costs - scholarships/residency effects. As far as the top half, top 40% stuff, multiple students at NU this past weekend told me they thought you could safely count on studying your way into approximately the top 1/3, so if you have the guts then count on that.champ33 wrote:think i got skipped for being last on a page..
