this is the worst of the buildings at Loyola IMO. It looks like Gehry was inspired by the ancient Greeks and Romans to recreate my junior high gym.
What about this?

Re: Best Campus / Law Building?
the NU campus in Evanston is gorgeous (at least in the fall/summer.. I give tours of campus and I must say it's tougher to sell the school when it looks like one big glacier)- but the downtown campus is awesome, too. there is some construction going on right now on the main gothic building (which I believe is part of med, not law), but the Rubloff bulding, though modern, is very cool and has amazing views of lake michigan, navy pier, etc.- and the location is just incredible- 2 blocks from the magnificent mile.

Evanston is gorgeous. The student body is not.

Sorry, but the rep is well deserved. I covered NCAA basketball a few years back for a Big Ten market and we used to go out partying after transmission. After most Wildcat games, we just drove back to Madison.

Re: Best Campus / Law Building?
You asked for some FSU pictures, so here you go:
Westcott, aka the building on all the postcards.

We also have a pretty stadium.
--ImageRemoved--
And a state of the art, completely awesome movie theatre (listen I worked there for 4 years. I love it.)
--ImageRemoved--
and lots of bikes.
--ImageRemoved--
These are pictures of the actual law school:

and through my browsing, FSU tells me that:
We are acquiring, as an addition, a 50,000 square-foot modern courthouse directly across the street from our present facilities. Among other things, this acquisition will give us one of the nation's finest facilities for legal advocacy training.

I'm curious about UPenn law and how it fits in with the UPenn campus. The Penn campus is beautiful... a great enclave in a city... (I suppose Columbia is somewhat similar? something that NYU doesn't have). How is the law portion?

You might have been referring to my last post with these pics haha, ya Im not a big fan of the post modern loft feel I just meant I like the stucco/spanish tile roof/palm tree feel of a school. FSU kind of had that based on that one pic posted. Anyways, respect to my fellow Sicilian.trinacria1383 wrote:I obviously hate it but maybe there's someone who finds modern/postmodern/crap beautiful?
This last one was the inspiration for the Gehry if I am not mistaken.

I made a joke about that on my tour and neither the student guides, nor the fellow tour-ers found it funny in the least.chilerelleno wrote: you're right about the crucible... yikes! old world trial-esque

Re: Best Campus / Law Building?
the basketball culture at Villanova is INSANE, the campus is on the Philadelphia main line(one of the wealthiest areas in the country), the law school will be BRAND NEW next year, and until last year our campus was considered to be a national arboretum(I'm a senior undergrad, but not staying for law). If you have a score in the low 160's you'd also most likely get money.

Re: Best Campus / Law Building?
I'll be visiting UIUC next month and will definitely take pics of the campus when I'm there. So...if we don't get any pics sooner than early March, looks like we're all going to have to wait.galahad85 wrote:I'd also like to see this.badlydrawn wrote:+1.
