Spoke with a Chicago professor on the phone yesterday for awhile and was very impressed and excited about what is going on over there for public interest people. Also none of the faculty I've contacted from Boalt or NYU have responded to me and its been a few weeks, and I've been in close contact with three professors from Chicago who assuaged my worries about Chicago's lack of PI support.

I'm in grad school at UCLA right now, and from what I could tell that new dean they hired did a GREAT job here. I've also been assured that Chicago is expanding its PI support, and I have a good deal of faith in Chicago's strategy as an institution and that with a new dean they will be making some nice improvements.
