At the end of the day, UVa and even GULC are head and shoulders above the opportunity driven advantages that a school like WUSTL can give you. The employers that UVa pulls in for OGI, from the governmental sector as well, are the kind of opportunities that are likely a thing of urban myth at WUSTL nowadays.

Because what you want to do now, and what you want to do once you familiarize yourself with law during the first year will often change, I would hedge my bets with the school that can provide me with the widest range of opportunities. Worst thing that can happen to you is if you graduate from a school like WUSTL with uninteresting, low level opportunities, even if you excel, and then you get to spend the rest of your career thinking "what if?"

Since you have GULC vying for you, and I hear great things about their ability to get their students into Federal Orgs in DC, you might consider seeing what kind of compensation they can offer you. You obviously have some pretty good schools offering, so it doesn't hurt to bring this up with admissions and ask. With UVa too for that matter. There is literally nothing to lose by doing this and everything to gain. Give their admin offices a call and see who you need to talk to. For sure it's a common question that will at least get a polite answer.

Go to GWU. School is free and you will be in DC and able to network and work easier and GWU is a respected school in D.C.

If you do well at GWU you always have the option of biglaw. But even if you aren't in the top of your class you can still do the work you are interested in and have no debt.

Taking out debt for a T-14 is crazy if your not interested in biglaw to service that debt unless its HY.
