How can GULC still be over $100,000 in debt with a $150,000 scholarship? Isn't that basically COL+$10k each year? These debt amounts seem crazy inflated to me.

With an SA in your 2L summer and some side cash from RA-ing, you should be able to keep your debt at GULC at no more than $100K even given how absurdly expensive it is to live in the city.gazorpazorp wrote:I just plugged the numbers into GULC's online debt calculator. Law School Transparency projects a debt total of $105,000 even with a full ride at GULC based on absurd COL in DC ($27,000+).

wow, that's a tough one and georgetown really seems to want you.gazorpazorp wrote:Now looking at $105,000 at Mich vs $165,000 from GULC. It's honestly tough for me to choose Michigan at this point, even with the better employment #'s.
don't think you can go wrong either way here with that kind of $$$$ and you seem biased towards georgetown already.
i'd say just pick which you really want. gulc at that price is defensible and there's worse outcomes than graduating from the school you want for basically CoL
disclaimer: currently on michigan's WL but i doubt that many would objectively find fault with either choice
