I would need proof for that. He's on tls too much. Likely just a troll.

Real practicing attorneys at any reputable firm don't have this much time to troll... Except well unemployed attorneys...

Rpupkin got his LSAT score in 2014. How can he possibly be a practicing attorney?stego wrote:Pupkin is a practicing attorney, bro.mynameismyname wrote:If I had to guess, I would think Rpupkin is probably a splitter who has been a career paralegal or a small business assistant manager who thinks his loose connections to successful people makes him knowledgable.

Like the other poster said, he's just a splitter with some paralegal experience.

This. However, I probably wouldn't attend law school at all if I had a prestigious UG degree.jbagelboy wrote:A full ride to a T14 is worth it if you want to practice law.
I would go up to $150,000 in debt to attend a T13 (not georgetown), in the abstract.

LOL at 0Ls knowing what practicing attorneys can and can't do. Or not being able to figure out what is/isn't trolling.orangered wrote:Rpupkin got his LSAT score in 2014. How can he possibly be a practicing attorney?

I mean, if you want to practice law, it doesn't matter what kind of undergraduate degree you have (unless its a foreign degree). people shouldn't be going to law school if they don't want to practice law.californiauser wrote:This. I was thinking this was a DF call-in, but then I remembered that he's only at a V42. That must be why he has plenty of time to troll.A. In Hindsight, I would say 100k, because I'm not willing to risk more than two years of big law slavery.

BagelBoy's right: if you want to be a lawyer, no one gives a shit where you went to UG.jbagelboy wrote:I mean, if you want to practice law, it doesn't matter what kind of undergraduate degree you have (unless its a foreign degree). people shouldn't be going to law school if they don't want to practice law.californiauser wrote:This. Unless circumstances are atypical, my rough guide for the maximum amount of debt I'll endorse for a school is $2,000 multiplied by Biglaw percentage (i.e. the percent of people who want Biglaw who can get it).

This rests on the assumption that those applying and matriculating to law school actually want or know what it means to "practice law," which we know from attorney satisfaction levels isn't a high percentage of law students.jbagelboy wrote:I mean, if you want to practice law, it doesn't matter what kind of undergraduate degree you have (unless its a foreign degree). people shouldn't be going to law school if they don't want to practice law.californiauser wrote:This. And my qualifier applies to me. I do want to practice law, but I think I would have enjoyed other jobs just as much, unfortunately I couldn't get those jobs out of undergrad.

Dude, as you know, I'm a paralegal by day and a small business assistant manager by night. Moreover, I spend several hours per day studying for the LSAT so I can retake in June for more money so I can have the same opportunities you have. If I were a real practicing attorney, I would have more time to troll, not less.mynameismyname wrote:Real practicing attorneys at any reputable firm don't have this much time to troll... Gunning for that 180? Something I wish I would've done...taking the LSAT was kind of fun. A lot funner than practicing law anyway.rpupkin wrote:Dude, as you know, I'm a paralegal by day and a small business assistant manager by night. I won't be satisfied until rpumpkin releases long-form birth certificate on these fora. #mynameismyname2016BigZuck wrote:I think the OP asks some good questions.WinterComing wrote:This is the most bizarre thread.
Rpumpkin answers other people's questions, yes. But just what are his law school goals? And why is he constantly retaking the LSAT?
These are things we've all always wondered, but been too afraid to ask.

I know you're joking but there are a lot of unanswered questions here. Who is this rpumpkin guy? Why does this 0L feel qualified to give advice? Moreso, why has a mod (A. Nony Mouse) rushed in to defend him? There is much more going on here than meets the eye. And we as TLS users need to demand answers.bruinfan10 wrote:I won't be satisfied until rpumpkin releases long-form birth certificate on these fora. #mynameismyname2016BigZuck wrote:I think the OP asks some good questions.WinterComing wrote:This is the most bizarre thread.

Yeah the mod surprised me with his enthusiastic support of the troll.

Re: How much would you risk for lower top 14?
Orangered and Mynameismyname go to a dark parking garage in Washington DC. From the shadows emerges a mysterious figure, wearing a hat and sunglasses. "You're getting close," the man says. "Just follow the rankings."
As the man turns around to walk away, Orangered cries out "Wait...wait...who are you?" The man pauses for a moment, and then says: "I'm DaRascal....they call me DaRascal."
The truth is out there.
