At ASW yesterday, they had a Q&A about this in the opening remarks and someone asked why he was still going to be in the faculty. They sighed and said "tenure".

omfg, tenure is a complete joke - along with the pensions for retired/emeritus professors/admin that are more or less single handedly bankrupting Berkeley and causing a 150 million deficit........we need to revamp academia
