If you want to do a random act of kindness, go back and edit all your quotes.

Yeah OP, not that you've said anything offensive, but I feel kinda bad reading this thread after the other one.

P.S. Cornell does grade up to a 4.3

Why's is everyone so concerned ? I don't think I'll be number one, but I'd like to try. Don't you guys remember those elementary school posters " shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars !"

Look man, all we can say is they we're your future colleagues, and we think this is a bad look. We're not saying you're an asshole, if you were we wouldn't be trying to help you.

Even if you don't see what's wrong, we're the people you have to deal with for the next 40-50 years of your life.

Shoot for the moon all you want, but at a bear minimum have a mod change your name to be less conspicuous.

I found a strong negative correlation between how hard a studied and my grade. If you know too much law, your brain gets all cramped up and you lose mental agility. Best to get the basics down and just wing the rest.

Don't you think you're all being a bit silly with the whole "Better delete all these posts, OP" nonsense? It is a stupid question but it isn't like he's admitting to being a pedo or something. Only a retard would care about these posts two or three years from now when looking to hire OP.

I just am a fan of discreteness unless it requires otherwise. I wouldn't want my name out there. I mean some people know who I am, but it's not like I'm broadcasting it.

I doubt anyone would suggest that consequences that dire would ever obtain; rather, we're trying to help OP avoid being the laughing stock among his peers at school and/or work, because we're all good humanitarians out here (once we had our laugh of course)

ETA not that I would ever forget his name if I was planning on going to Cornell btw

Exactly, although you may have been responding to the quote above me and not me.

If I were reading this thinking about hiring OP, I would at this point know he committed to a 3 year 300K endeavor with little idea about what that endeavor entials. I'd also know he, at least then, couldn't do the most basic research - nothing he's asked needs its own thread. It looks bad.

39k + cost of living, and I've found that in many instances asking on a relevant forum with hospitable users leads me to great resources very quickly, what employer isn't a fan of efficiency ? Not to mention, asking about the fringe end of competitiveness at Cornell is a little unfair to classify as having " little idea about what the endeavor entails ", wouldn't you agree?

Here's what I'm doing to secure my 1L 4.0: Taking a two week trip to Jamaica with my wife. We will probably drink & screw ourselves blind and I will therefore get accommodations on every exam.

It probably won't cost him a job, but it might get him mocked for being a clueless gunner.

Did exactly this before my 1L (except to Bahamas and a couple other islands - Jamaica's a better choice). Did well grade-wise so I think we can assume causation.

Do you want a 1L 4.0?

Because that's how you get a 1L 4.0

everyone on this site is such a dickhead. we get it, 1L is a crap shoot, why even bother at all??? everyone is as smart as you! there is no way your effort can give you an advantage!!

OP was just asking where he can find some solid sample outlines or additional reading to familiarize him or herself about what the study of law entails. We don't need to jump down the poster's throat every single time...

That said, big props to Hand with the Masturbation comment, juxtaposition humor at its very finest.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
