Fresh from UCI's website.Dean Erwin Chemerinsky continued: “I expect that we will rise significantly in U.S. News rankings in the years ahead. For example, at least 84 percent of the UCI Law class of 2014 will be employed in full-time long-term jobs that require or take advantage of a J.D. It is also important to remember that the U.S. News ranking does not begin to capture the very special community we have created with terrific teaching, outstanding students and a real commitment to public service.”

Not sure what to make of the -11 movement. To clarify: I have close to a full offer, looking to fill in the gap with the remaining few thousand. Might be easier to do now that the gap between Cardozo and other schools who have offered $ (Emory/W&M) has widened.rwhyAn wrote:This.romothesavior wrote:It wasn't worth going to without a full ride yesterday, it's not worth going to without a ful ride today either.Trumpet101 wrote:wtf, cardozo! In related news: Fordham went up a couple slots. I know that's not a breathtaking movement, but what's the consensus on Cardozo for free vs. Fordham at half? I know several recent grads from Cardozo who attended with scholly and landed big law jobs but I'm worried that they're the unrepresentative sample and it's distorting my decision-making process

V38 law firm just phoned U Mich and said we aren't attending OCI unless Harbaugh invites us to a private dinner at his house the night before. The Duke partners are all wearing blue and doing chants in the hallways.

Just curious. The schools that hit a sinkhole in the rankings last year (ala W&L, 26 to 41), was their OCI turnout immediately affected or does it take a while?
