This analogy is way too optimistic. Lots of people survived the trail of tears.

Don't be a complete dick. Even if well over half of students at both schools wind up unemployed, about 10% get real jobs (through family connections)

it's interesting
in prisons sometimes solitary is called SHU, or segregated housing unit
which is very fitting, since seton hall keeps its grads segregated from gainful employment

Think about it like this:

Every $10,000 in debt = Around $100 repayment for roughly ten years (Without interest).

170K in debt
Monthly Loan Payment: $1,956.37
Number of Payments: 120

According to LST, Seton placed 9.1% in big law, and Brooklyn placed 11%. You'd have better odds placing the 170K on red/black in Vegas and winning than getting into big law from Seton or Brooklyn.

You couldn't make that payment and live on your own for less than 100K a year.

100K take home after taxes = $67,264.27-23,476.44 (Yearly repayment)=43,787.83
Add in big city rent, and other bills to get what you'd have left over.
