Choosing between IU McKinney and Boston College Forum

I studied with all the manhattan books, did some kaplan books as well, did every single PT from 30 onwards. I know that there is pretty much not an easy fix to making my score higher. I am also a bad test taker, so that is a large issue for me.

As I suspected, you did what I did and it's not enough. You need to drill. You need to do questions by type. You need to do each question and take as much time as you need to figure out why each wrong answer is wrong and why each right answer is right.

Uhh you know law school is gonna be full of tests right? I wouldn't choose BC at sticker, nor would I choose IU. Sit out.

A law degree from IU-Indy is not likely to travel beyond Indiana & the bordering states. Don't pay full tuition at BC; retake the LSAT & reapply next cycle to generate better options.

The only place I would like to be is in Chicago after Indy for a little while.

Only 2.3% got jobs in Illinois from IU-Indy. Barely half of the class even got actual jobs as lawyers. Don't do it.

If you want to practice law at all, I would steer clear of IU McKinney. If you were considering Maurer, I would understand the debate better. However, tossing in McKinney instead of Maurer, you should go with BC. Even at full scholarship, you're going to come out of McKinney with a 10-15% chance at practicing at all.

BC or retake.

You may want to do some research on some of the legal webpages and see how well and where McKinney places its graduates. You'll come away with a good understanding that its not worth the three years.

BC at sticker is too much, and IU-Indy is only good for Indianapolis, which you said you aren't thrilled with. Retake is the only option. Don't take the test again until you're consistently PTing much higher and drill as ManoftheHour suggested.

Whatever you do don't do BC @ sticker, and don't go to a local school in a city you don't want to live in long term.

Hi! I just got off the wait list for Boston College and have to make a decision whether I attend or not in a couple days. I've already been accepted to IU McKinney not to be confused with Maurer and received a full ride from them so it's a difficult decision to make.

BC said that they do not have any money for scholarships left so I would be paying sticker there and using loans to fund it.. What should I do?? Any advice is appreciated!! Thank you!!

Do not pay sticker for BC.

You're better off taking out a $300,000 loan, flying to Vegas, and betting it all on black.
