Clyde Frog wrote:I just don't like it when people try to assume that all schools are created equally and provide the same opportunities. This applies to everyone from law school deans to the cop in this video. Outside of TLS it is not well known how shitty the job market actually is. I see people I went to school with all the time bragging about getting into the University of Richmond, Akron Law School ect., and those people, along with their friends and family, think they're on the fast track to success.
I can't help but feel bad for the victims though. Also have friends who brag about TTT schools they are taking loans for or having their parents dump their savings into and, although everyone else assumes these guys are going to be ballin the rest of their lives, it's going to suck so bad later for the majority of them. That's life-fucking debt. I wouldn't wish it on my enemies. Maybe they aren't really victims though.. Much more data out there now.

Although I find his speech and interview hilarious, ranking next to Tina Fey's writing for 30 Rock, I do agree with Banjo 100%.banjo wrote:
Maybe I'm jaded, but his comments seemed like the standard drivel you hear in these kinds of videos. I just think our outrage is better directed at worse offenders--deans and professors who knowingly misrepresent data to students.
The deans of schools like ALU are knowingly committing fraud, year after year and class after class. They should be burned at the stake like the Knights Templars were in the 14th Century. Even Philip the Fair wouldn't stand for this kind of scum.
