I don't buy into the whole T14 thing, as I'm not interested in BigLaw. And, for the most part, rankings have little to do with quality of education. It's a shame that a private dump of a magazine's rankings has this much control over law school admissions.

I should probably re-take (that's very funny), but I'm 35, and don't really want to wait another year.

Don't listen to the nay-Sayers, T14 is a sham concocted by a bankrupted magazine trying to stay liquid. Biglaw and federal clerkships are ranking-centric but for other legal jobs, you should just try to attend the school where you want to practice. Good luck and follow your dreams and don't re-take especially since waiting another year seems like a big problem for you. Just don't regret three years down the road about having no chance with biglaw/clerkship.

Thanks for all the serious replies. Question, do schools change their scholarship offers if you re-take in June and score higher?
