Second best option is Fordham. And yes, you should continue to negotiate even after they matched WM. I've gone back to schools 3+ times. Keep asking for more everywhere. It works.
What are the benefits of Fordham over W & M or GW, besides its proximity to me and saving on housing?
Do you want to work in New York?

I applied to Yale (reject), and in my post I said I was waitlisted to Columbia and I'm waiting on NYU. I don't want to apply to Harvard, as I know I will be
miserable there. I do regret not applying to Stanford or U of Virginia (so stupid).

I really have no interest leaving the Northeast region/Middle Atlantic region.
Penn and UVA are in the "mid-Atlantic" region.
Yeah, I feel rally stupid for not applying to them. I didn't think I would get in and be able to afford the application fees. Silly me.

NYC or DC would be great. Again, I'm really aiming for public sector work, so these would be the most sensible places to reside in.

What are these "other means of achieving my goals" that you speak of? If your goal is to be a real life lawyer doing stuff that 99% of real life lawyers can't, why wouldn't you go to the best school possible?
MY point is, does anyone know of anybody who got a higher scholarship offer after being accepted and taking the June LSAT? If people have done it and were successful, I'm down to do it.
Yes, it happened to me

Normally I would write a detailed, helpful response to this question. However, I'm not going to lie OP, I don't appreciate your 'tude, nor do I particularly care for the cut of your jib. So for that reason I'm going to decline.

However, you're in luck! I'm nothing if not benevolent, and for that reason I'm going to direct you to the search function on this website. Try searching for "scholarship increase after retaking" or something like that. If you're lucky, you might even find my anecdote in a sea of anecdotes!

Keep in mind that even if you did retake and they didn't offer to increase your scholarship at whatever school you were committed to, you can always withdraw and reapply next year. The unicorns will think you for not being impatient and going to a school like Fordham.

Well. Thank you for the help, Big Zuck. We really need more passive aggressive and self-righteous people like you in the world. Until then.

You were very helpful. He came out with a pointless rhetorical question and just bugged me and held out information. Either help me or don't, but be straightforward about it. We are all busy and stressed out people.

He did offer you helpful advice (the search function is your best friend!), more helpful than his own personal anecdote would have been, and is a helpful poster in general. Don't be a jerk while asking for free help on the internet.

I've been really stressed out lately. I have to work two jobs, the idea of debt is gnawing at me, and I feel like I'm going to cry. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Are you actually a URM? To be a Hispanic URM you have to be Mexican-American or Puerto Rican. If you are a URM, you seem to have under-performed your numbers. Regardless, I think you should retake in June.

I am of South American descent, from a northern country famous for its coffee.

What do you mean by "I underperformed my numbers?"

I was rubbed a little wrong by the "spare me the rhetoric" thing but then again I was probably overly butthurt because I'm a little stressed out today myself (huge paper due tomorrow at 9 am).

Sorry for being an asshole OP. If you search using those terms though you'll find a lot of stuff about retaking and getting a bump.

Thanks. I've found info on it. I'm going to re-take the LSAT in June. My family will be pissed though that I may wait until the next cycle, lol. I don't care.

Good choice. Tell your family to shove it. Or show them lawschooltransparency.com.
